Abrax – Sirolimus – Eluting Biodegradable Polymer Coronary Stent System
Sirolimus – Biodegradable polymeric stent system elutes, eliminates inflammation and stent thrombosis
Abrax coated stents are used to intervene in the heart, help clear blockages of coronary arteries, relieve angina, and treat myocardial infarction.
A type of stent that has been coated with a special drug. After stenting, this layer of drug will be released slowly into the vessel lumen, which prevents the formation of scar tissue. Thereby helping to keep the lumen smooth and not narrow again, significantly reducing the rate of restenosis after coronary artery bypass surgery. The rate of coronary re-stenosis is significantly lower following drug-eluting stents compared with conventional stenting.
Stent background:
Carbon ionized surface for higher biocompatibility and reduced vascular regeneration rate.
DATS (Dual Antithrombotic Stent Technology) technology.
The MSC (Multivariable Stent Cell) design provides broad access for balloon angioplasty and hemodynamically prominent coronary lateral branch stenting to optimize myocardial blood flow to the submuscular microvasculature heart and in muscle.
Intracellular “sinusoidal bonding”, open cell design ensures balance of radial strength and flexibility, enhancing radioactivity.
Optimal scaffolding as well as wall stenting with outstanding acute gain.
Catheter: Reduces loading pressure, homogenizes stent expansion, hydrophilicity reduces friction, optimizes delivery.
Sirolimus: Inhibits decubitus growth without blocking endothelialization, reducing restenosis in stents.
