The 31st Annual Meeting of The Association of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons of Asia (ATCSA) 2023

The Association of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons of Asia (ATCSA) this year took place on November 15-18, 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City, combined with the 9th Scientific Conference Of  The Association of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery of Vietnam (ATCSVN) and The International Society of Minimally Invasive Cardiothoracic Surgery (ISMICS).

This is a major medical forum in Asia and the world. Here, Vietnamese doctors have the opportunity to directly exchange and learn from the world’s leading experts; At the same time, update advanced techniques applied to diagnosis and treatment of patients.

This year, the theme has changes to keep up with world trends in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery. The first trend is less invasive, including heart surgery, especially open heart surgery with thoracoscopy support. In addition, there are many reports on completely endoscopic cardiac surgery with new endoscopic systems that are easier and more effective. Besides being a minimally invasive technique in treating vascular diseases, the interventions are highly effective and reduce treatment and recovery time for patients.
